ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a training program called the Caregiver Interaction Profile (CIP), which is designed to help daycare providers improve their interactions with children. The main goal is to see if this training makes the relationships between caregivers and children better and if it helps children grow socially, emotionally, and in their language skills. Some daycare providers will receive this training right away, while others will be put on a waiting list to receive it later. The researchers will compare how interactions change for both groups by filming their daily activities with the children before and after the training.
To participate, you need to be a professional daycare provider currently working in a daycare center. Unfortunately, temporary staff on short-term contracts are not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to attend training sessions and fill out questionnaires about the children's development. The findings from this trial could really help improve the quality of care and support that children receive in daycare settings.
