ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a tool called CAPTURE, which helps doctors identify people who may have obstructive pulmonary diseases, like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), even if they haven't been diagnosed yet. The goal is to see if this tool works well in France for finding patients who need treatment for these lung conditions.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 40 years old and currently receiving care from a healthcare professional. It's important that you are part of the French social security system and can provide your consent to take part in the trial. However, if you have already been diagnosed with COPD or asthma, or if you have a condition that prevents you from completing a simple breathing test or questionnaire, you won't be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to answer some questions and undergo a breathing test to help determine if you have any undiagnosed lung issues. Overall, this study aims to improve the way doctors can find and treat lung diseases earlier.
