Eligibility criteria

  • Inclusion Criteria:
  • • aggressive periodontitis (stage III, grade C periodontitis)
  • • nonsmokers
  • • at least 20 teeth in oral cavity
  • • systemically healthy
  • Exclusion Criteria:
  • • any previous periodontal treatment
  • • smoking
  • • pregnancy
  • • ingestion of systemic antibiotics within three months before therapy
