ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two types of therapy to see which one is better for improving balance, mobility, and thinking skills in children with diplegic cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement and coordination. The two therapies being compared are Action Observation Therapy (AOT), where children watch and learn from videos of movements, and traditional physiotherapy which focuses on physical exercises.
To participate in this study, children aged between 5 and 11 years old who have been diagnosed with diplegic spastic cerebral palsy and can follow instructions are eligible. They should be able to walk at least a little and have mild to moderate movement challenges. Children with severe physical problems or other serious health issues may not be able to join. Participants can expect to receive one of the two types of therapy and will be assessed on how they improve in their balance, movement, and thinking skills over time. The study is currently looking for participants, and all children, regardless of gender, are welcome to join.
