ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, titled "DRug Use & Infections in ViEtnam: TuBerculosis Control," is focusing on reducing the number of tuberculosis (TB) cases among people who inject drugs in Hai Phong, Vietnam. The researchers aim to implement a special community-based program that addresses the unique needs of this high-risk group, hoping to lower the rates of TB in this population.

To be part of this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, actively using drugs like heroin or methamphetamine, and show signs of recent drug use, such as injection marks. However, individuals currently receiving treatment for active TB or those with certain serious health conditions will not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to engage in a program designed to improve your health and reduce the risk of TB, all while being supported by a team of professionals. Your safety and well-being are a top priority throughout this process.
