ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new approach called the STARS framework, which is designed to improve how patients are assessed for rehabilitation and sick leave in primary care settings. The trial will compare nine healthcare centers that are using the STARS framework to similar centers that are not. Researchers want to see how this new framework affects patients, healthcare staff, and the overall organization of care. They will gather both numerical data and personal experiences to understand the impact better.

To participate in the trial, patients need to be at least 18 years old and currently on sick leave due to certain health conditions, like mental health disorders or pain issues, including those related to COVID-19. Health care professionals involved in the sick leave process at the centers can also take part. Participants can expect to help shape future healthcare practices while receiving supportive care during their rehabilitation journey. It's important to note that individuals who cannot understand Swedish or give consent, as well as those with protected identities, cannot participate. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should reach out to their healthcare provider for more information.
