ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how drinking water kefir, a fermented probiotic beverage, can affect the gut microbiome in healthy adults. The gut microbiome is a community of bacteria and other microorganisms in our digestive system that play an important role in our overall health. Participants in the study will drink water kefir daily for two weeks, and researchers will analyze their gut bacteria before and after this period to see if there are any beneficial changes.
To be eligible for the study, participants should be between 18 and 65 years old and able to fill out forms online. However, individuals with gastrointestinal diseases, autoimmune diseases, or those on certain medications that weaken the immune system cannot participate. Additionally, participants should not take antibiotics during the study. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it offers a chance to learn more about how a simple dietary change could positively impact gut health.
