ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special type of counseling on women who are facing fertility issues and undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). The goal is to see if this counseling helps improve how women cope with the stress of infertility and whether it strengthens their relationships with their partners. The trial is currently looking for women between the ages of 20 and 45 who are dealing with infertility and have certain health conditions that allow them to participate.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining this study, eligible participants will be women who can read and write, have a general health score below 28, and do not have psychiatric problems or past failures with assisted reproductive technologies. Participants will receive the counseling and may experience its effects on their coping strategies and marital satisfaction. It’s important to note that if someone experiences severe emotional distress during the trial, they may be asked to leave the study. This research aims to provide valuable insights that could help many women and couples going through similar challenges.
