ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how feelings of resentment and the ability to forgive can affect the quality of life for people living with HIV. Researchers believe that being able to forgive can help reduce the stress that comes with living with a chronic illness and the stigma associated with HIV. The study aims to see if promoting forgiveness can lead to better mental and physical health outcomes for these patients.
To participate, individuals must be receiving care for HIV at the Amiens University Hospital, be able to attend follow-ups via teleconsultation, and have a social security plan. Participants should also be able to understand and communicate in French. If eligible, they can expect to engage in activities that may help them develop a more forgiving attitude, which could improve their overall well-being. This study is particularly important because it explores a less studied area of how emotional factors like forgiveness can impact health in those living with HIV.
