ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how different eating schedules, specifically early versus late time-restricted eating, can affect weight and body mass index (BMI) in adults who are overweight. Time-restricted eating means that participants will only eat during a specific 8-hour window each day. Researchers want to see how these eating patterns influence weight loss, any challenges participants may face, and how it impacts their overall quality of life.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between the ages of 18 and 75 and have a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher, which indicates they are overweight. However, individuals who regularly skip meals, have certain health conditions like cancer or diabetes, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of eating disorders won’t be able to join. Those who participate will be asked to follow the eating schedule for a set period and share their experiences, which will help researchers understand the benefits and challenges of this eating approach.
