ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well two different types of light-cured resin composites hold up when used for a fixed lingual retainer, which is a type of orthodontic device placed behind the teeth to keep them in position after braces. The main goal is to see how often these retainers come loose, which can be a concern for patients after finishing their orthodontic treatment.
To participate in this study, individuals should have recently completed their orthodontic treatment and need a fixed retainer. They should also have good oral hygiene and be in good health overall. Unfortunately, those with certain conditions like facial injuries or habits such as biting their nails or pens will not be eligible. If you join this trial, you will help researchers understand which material works better for keeping your teeth stable, and you may contribute to improving future orthodontic care.
