ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating a treatment approach for patients who have lower limb lymphedema, which is swelling caused by a buildup of lymph fluid, often following cellulitis, a skin infection. The study will look at how a combination of kinesio tape—a flexible tape used to support muscles—and complete decongestive therapy can help improve limb size, skin condition, movement, and overall quality of life. The goal is to find effective ways to manage symptoms like pain and heaviness in the legs.
To participate in this trial, you would need to be between 45 and 55 years old, have mild lymphedema (stage 2), and be in stable health. It's important that you have been free from cellulitis for at least two weeks and do not have certain health issues like severe heart problems or infections. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive specialized treatments and care to help improve your condition, and your progress will be monitored throughout the study.
