ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective an online learning module can be for gastroenterologists in improving their ability to identify early colorectal cancer during colonoscopy procedures. Specifically, it aims to see if the training helps them better predict whether certain large polyps (growths in the colon) have spread into deeper layers of tissue, which is important for deciding the best treatment options. The trial will compare the skills of gastroenterologists who complete the e-learning course with those who do not.
To be eligible for this trial, gastroenterologists must have performed over 300 colonoscopies and be either in their last year of training or have completed their residency after 2014. Participants can expect to engage in the e-learning module and then be assessed on their ability to diagnose and treat colorectal lesions. The goal is to improve the accuracy of diagnoses and treatment outcomes for patients with colorectal cancer, ultimately leading to better care.
