ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how adolescents and their parents view vaping, which is the use of electronic cigarettes. With vaping becoming more common among teens, researchers want to understand the habits, feelings, and social influences related to this behavior. They are inviting healthy volunteers aged 13 to 17—whether they currently vape, used to vape, or have never vaped—as well as parents who know or suspect their child is vaping.

Participants will complete an anonymous survey from their own device, which will take about 20 minutes. The survey will ask questions about vaping habits, mood issues like stress or anxiety, and social influences, along with some parenting perspectives. After finishing the survey, participants will receive a $10 reward. Additionally, helpful resources will be provided for those who may need support with mental health or quitting vaping. This study aims to gather important information that could help address the vaping issue among teens.
