ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new therapy called 4FM Acceptance training, designed to help people with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (cPTSD) that might stem from relational trauma. The research aims to validate a Polish version of a questionnaire used to assess trauma, understand how common relational trauma is among adults in a psychiatric hospital, develop the 4FM Acceptance training based on a psychological approach called Existential Analysis, and evaluate how effective this new therapy is for patients with cPTSD.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 65, speak Polish, and have a stable mental state that allows them to complete questionnaires accurately. They also need to be diagnosed with cPTSD based on the questionnaire being used. Participants will be expected to provide their consent to join the study and undergo the new therapy, which aims to improve their mental health. It's important to note that individuals with certain conditions, like substance addictions or severe cognitive impairments, are not eligible to participate.
