ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Maternal Well-being in the Postnatal Stage," is focused on helping new mothers who are experiencing postpartum depression. The goal is to create and test an online program designed to improve their mental well-being. Participants will be women who have given birth within the last year and are experiencing symptoms of depression. They will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: one will receive group therapy based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the other will participate in a program that includes positive psychology techniques.
To be eligible for the study, women must have had a baby in the past year but not in the last month. Those with certain serious mental health issues or substance abuse problems in the recent past will not be able to participate. This trial is currently looking for participants, and taking part means you will receive support aimed at improving your mood and overall well-being during a challenging time.
