ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an updated relationship education and HIV prevention program aimed at reducing the risk of HIV and STIs like Chlamydia and Gonorrhea among gay, bisexual, queer, and transgender individuals who partner with cisgender men. The program will help participants understand healthier relationships and safer sex practices. Participants will be randomly assigned to either receive the program or not, and they will take part in online surveys and testing for STIs and HIV over the course of 2 years.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be aged 16 to 34, identify as cisgender men, transgender men or women, or non-binary individuals, and have had condomless anal sex with at least two partners of unknown or different HIV status in the last six months. They must also be confirmed HIV-negative and have access to the internet. Participation is entirely remote, so there's no need for in-person visits to a lab. This trial offers a chance to gain valuable information and support while helping researchers understand the best ways to promote health in these communities.
