ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective an online therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is for women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) who are experiencing feelings of anxiety and depression. The study will compare two types of online CBT: one-on-one sessions and group sessions, to see which works better. The goal is to understand if these therapies can help improve mental health, quality of life, coping skills, body image, and sleep quality in participants over three and six months.
To be eligible for this trial, women aged 18 to 55 with a confirmed diagnosis of PCOS and mild symptoms of depression or anxiety can participate. However, those who are pregnant, currently receiving treatment for serious mental health issues, or have certain other health conditions won't be able to join. If you qualify and decide to participate, you can expect to engage in online therapy sessions and contribute to valuable research that may help others with similar challenges in the future.
