ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new yoga therapy program designed specifically for cancer patients who are about to undergo a special treatment called hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The goal is to see how this yoga program can help improve the well-being of patients in hospitals in India, Tanzania, and the United States. The program is tailored to fit the cultural backgrounds of the patients, making it more relevant and beneficial for them.
To join this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for HSCT at one of the participating hospitals. They should speak English, Hindi, or Swahili and be able to provide consent to take part in the trial. However, those with severe mobility issues or certain mental health disorders may not be eligible. If you or a loved one joins this trial, you can expect to participate in yoga sessions while in the hospital, which may help with relaxation and recovery during this challenging time.
