ClinConnect Summary
The "Mood Lifters for Undergraduates" trial is studying a program designed to help college students improve their mental health. This program, called Mood Lifters, is led by peers—meaning students support each other in weekly meetings and other flexible ways. It aims to boost feelings of happiness, engagement, and purpose while reducing issues like depression and anxiety. Since many students struggle to access affordable mental health care, especially in large university settings, this program hopes to provide a more accessible option.
To participate in this trial, you must be an undergraduate student who is at least 18 years old. Unfortunately, students with certain serious mental health issues, such as active suicidal thoughts or psychosis, cannot join. Those who participate can expect to attend group sessions and receive support from fellow students. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be an opportunity to gain valuable support for mental wellness.
