ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how telehealth programs can help family caregivers who are taking care of people with dementia. Many caregivers experience stress, grief, and a sense of burden while providing care, and this study aims to see if certain online support methods can improve their mental health. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and anyone between the ages of 18 to 89 who is a family member or close friend caring for someone with dementia may be eligible to join, as long as they can read, write, and speak English.
If you decide to participate, you can expect to engage in online sessions that provide support and strategies to help manage stress and emotional challenges. It’s important to note that this study is for informal caregivers, meaning those who are not paid for their caregiving role, and individuals with any cognitive impairments will not be eligible. This trial presents a chance to find helpful resources and connect with others in similar situations, all from the comfort of your home.
