ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new device called the NSite, which is designed to help monitor scoliosis, a condition where the spine curves abnormally. The trial will involve 13 patients aged between 10 and 18 years old who are being evaluated for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, which means the cause of their scoliosis is unknown. During the study, each patient will be scanned three times by different users to see if the device produces consistent results, helping to ensure its reliability.
To participate, patients must be between 10 and 18 years old and have been referred for evaluation or diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Unfortunately, if scoliosis is caused by another condition, or if a parent or guardian cannot give consent, they will not be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo a series of scans using the NSite device, which is still being tested, and their results will contribute to the development of the device for future use. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to gather important data to support the device's approval for wider use.
