ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at two different surgical approaches for treating nasal blockage caused by a bent septum, which is the wall that separates the two sides of the nose. The main procedure being studied is called septoplasty, and some patients may also undergo an additional procedure called infundibulotomy. The goal is to find out if adding infundibulotomy really helps patients breathe better compared to just having septoplasty alone.

To be part of this trial, participants should be between the ages of 6 and 74 and have difficulty breathing through one side of their nose because of a septal deviation. If you choose to participate, you can expect to receive one of the two surgical treatments, and researchers will follow up to see how well you breathe afterward. This trial is important because it aims to provide evidence about whether one approach works better than the other, which could help improve treatment for many people with similar issues.
