ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a healthier lifestyle can help adults who have posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and are at risk for heart problems. The researchers want to find out if making changes like eating better and exercising can improve both mental and heart health in these individuals.
To participate in this study, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have symptoms of PTSD. You also need to be either overweight or not getting enough exercise, meaning you do less than 30 minutes of moderate physical activity five times a week. If you can’t exercise at a low to moderate level, like walking, you wouldn’t be eligible to join. Participants in the trial can expect to receive support and guidance on how to adopt a healthier lifestyle, which could benefit their overall well-being. If you're interested, the trial is currently recruiting participants, and all genders are welcome to take part.
