ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing a mobile health platform designed to help children sleep better and prevent obesity. The researchers believe that getting enough sleep is important for maintaining a healthy weight in kids. They are looking for children aged 8 to 12 years who don't get enough sleep (less than 8.5 hours per night) and have a body mass index (BMI) that falls between the 50th and 95th percentile for their age and sex. Only one child from each family can participate.
If eligible, participants can expect to use this mobile platform, which may include fun tools and resources to help them improve their sleep habits. The trial is currently recruiting and is open to all genders, but children with certain health conditions or who are transitioning to high school during the study won't be able to join. This is an exciting opportunity for families looking to support their children’s health and well-being!
