ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how aromatherapy and hypnosis can help manage anxiety and discomfort in cancer patients during certain medical procedures, like blood tests or changing dressings. The goal is to see if using essential oils and self-hypnosis can make these experiences less stressful for patients.
To participate, patients need to be at least 18 years old and currently receiving treatment for cancer. They should be able to give their consent and be undergoing specific procedures like blood tests or dressing changes. During the trial, participants will receive support to learn self-hypnosis and will experience aromatherapy during their medical procedures. They will be asked about their feelings of anxiety and comfort before and after these procedures to track how well these techniques work. It's an opportunity for patients to explore new ways of managing discomfort associated with their cancer treatment.
