ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a new tool, called the Media Discussion and Planning Tool (MDPT), can help families make better decisions about media use in their homes. It aims to improve the way families talk about and plan their media activities, which can positively affect the behavior of adolescents aged 11 to 17. The study is currently recruiting participants, and both parents or guardians and their children can take part if they speak English.
To join the trial, children must be between 11 and 17 years old, and their parent or guardian must also be willing to participate. Participants can expect to engage in discussions using the MDPT and share their thoughts on media use in their family. This study is important because it aims to help families navigate media use together, supporting healthier habits for adolescents.
