ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is examining how a special program of physical activity can help people who have just been diagnosed with cancer. Researchers want to see if engaging in physical activity can improve the quality of life, help patients handle their cancer treatments better, and possibly even increase their chances of survival. The study is currently looking for participants who are recently diagnosed, between the ages of 65 and 74, and are able to start a physical activity program within the first year after their diagnosis.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to have a good performance status, meaning they can carry out everyday activities with little trouble. However, some individuals may not qualify, especially those with serious heart problems, certain types of nerve damage, or other health issues that could increase the risk of injury. If you join this trial, you can expect to take part in a supportive physical activity program designed to help you during your cancer journey. This could be a great opportunity to improve your well-being while receiving care for your condition.
