ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a program called Project nGage, which aims to help young Black men who have sex with men and are living with HIV stay engaged in their healthcare and keep their virus levels low. The trial is looking for participants between the ages of 18 and 35 who identify as Black, have missed at least one HIV care appointment in the last year, and have at least one supportive friend or family member in their social network. Participants will work with these supportive individuals, known as Support Confidants, to improve their health outcomes.
If you or someone you know fits this description and is interested in participating, it’s important to note that both the young man with HIV and their chosen Support Confidant need to meet specific criteria. Participants can expect to engage in activities designed to strengthen their connection to healthcare while also receiving support from someone they trust. This trial is currently recruiting, so there is an opportunity to be part of a program that could significantly improve health outcomes for young Black men living with HIV.
