ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how well the subscapularis tendon, which is part of the shoulder, heals after surgery. Researchers are looking to see if fatty tissue that builds up around the tendon changes much after the tendon is repaired. This study uses a new way to classify and evaluate these injuries, which will help understand the healing process better.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and have had surgery for a torn subscapularis tendon between specific dates in 2016 and 2019. They should also have already been part of a previous study that classified their tendon injury through a special imaging method called arthroscopy. If you join the study, you will help researchers learn more about shoulder injuries and healing, but please keep in mind that participants cannot have any conditions that would prevent them from getting an MRI, a type of scan used in the study.
