ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how common sleep problems, specifically sleep-disordered breathing, are among pregnant women. Researchers believe that many pregnant women may experience difficulties with their breathing while sleeping, but the exact number of affected women is still unclear. By studying a group of pregnant women at the Private Hospital of the Loire, the trial aims to find out how many women are affected and what factors might contribute to these sleep issues. To do this, participants will undergo a test called polysomnography, which is a detailed sleep study that monitors breathing and other sleep patterns.
To be eligible for this study, women must be at least 18 years old and currently pregnant, specifically in their first trimester. They must also be willing to participate in up to two sleep studies and provide consent for their health data and their baby's information to be collected. Importantly, women who are in other clinical trials, under legal protection, or hospitalized without consent cannot take part. If you choose to participate, you’ll help researchers gain valuable insights that could improve the health of pregnant women and their babies.
