ClinConnect Summary
The Cohort Study of Uveitis Patients is a research project aimed at understanding uveitis, which is an inflammation of the middle layer of the eye. The study will look at how common this condition is, what causes it, how it shows up in patients, how it is diagnosed, and how different treatments work. By gathering information from patients living with uveitis, the researchers hope to find the best ways to diagnose and treat this condition, focusing on how active the inflammation is and how it affects patients’ vision.
If you are between the ages of 65 and 87 and have been diagnosed with uveitis, you may be eligible to participate in this study. However, people who have had recent eye surgery, are under 18, pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain other health issues may not be able to join. Participants can expect to share their experiences and health information, which will help researchers develop better treatment plans for uveitis patients in the future. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and your involvement could make a difference in understanding and treating this eye condition.
