ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective a Virtual Reality (VR) headset can be for helping parents manage anxiety compared to the usual care, which does not include any technology to distract them. The study aims to see if using VR can help reduce feelings of anxiety in both parents and their children during stressful situations.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a parent aged between 18 and 99 who is able to give consent. However, if you have serious motion sickness, current nausea, seizures, or significant visual problems, or if your child is in urgent medical need, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to use the VR headset during the trial, which will be evaluated against standard care practices. This research is currently recruiting participants, and taking part could help improve anxiety management for parents in similar situations in the future.
