ClinConnect Summary
The PROMIS Evaluation Study is looking at the safety and effectiveness of hip implants made by Falcon Medical. This study is being conducted at Bezirkskrankenhaus St. Johann, where about 250 patients are expected to receive total hip replacements, known as total hip arthroplasties (THA). If you are scheduled for a primary total hip replacement using a Falcon Medical implant, you might be eligible to participate in this study.
As a participant, you will help researchers gather important information about how well these implants work. They will look at things like any complications during or after the surgery and how well you feel afterward, using a simple questionnaire. Your data will be collected in a standardized way to ensure accuracy. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it is open to all genders in the age range of 65 to 74. If you decide to join, your involvement will contribute to the ongoing improvement of hip implants.
