ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected patients in the Netherlands who needed surgery or other medical procedures during 2020 and 2021. Researchers want to understand how changes in healthcare during the pandemic impacted patients' quality of life and their experiences with medical care. The study has three phases: first, they will conduct focus groups to hear directly from patients about their experiences. Next, they will create a questionnaire based on what they learn. In the final phase, they will use this questionnaire to gather more information from patients who had surgeries or procedures during that time.

If you are a patient who had surgery or another medical intervention in the Netherlands during 2020 or 2021, you may be eligible to participate. The trial is open to all genders, but participants must be able to speak Dutch. By taking part in this study, you can share your experiences, which will help improve healthcare for future patients. The researchers will also compare your answers with national patient records to gain deeper insights. This is a great opportunity to contribute to important research that can lead to better patient care.
