ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Frey's syndrome, a condition that can cause sweating, flushing, itching, and pain in specific areas of the face, often after treatment for parotid tumors. The researchers want to understand how common these symptoms are, which parts of the face are affected, and how severe these symptoms can be. Participants in the study will be asked simple questions about their symptoms, like whether they experience sweating when they eat and how intense these feelings are.
To join the trial, individuals need to have a clinical diagnosis of Frey's syndrome. However, those who have already received treatment for this condition, had radiation therapy in the head or neck area, or have certain neurological diseases are not eligible. The study is currently looking for participants of all genders, aged between 65 and 75. If you choose to participate, you will provide valuable information that could help improve understanding and treatment of Frey's syndrome in the future.
