ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new program designed to help prostate cancer patients become more active and stick to a regular exercise routine. Researchers know that being physically active can greatly reduce the chances of cancer returning and even lower the risk of dying from it. However, many prostate cancer patients don't get enough exercise. The study combines three approaches: creating a personal exercise plan, getting encouragement from another patient who has successfully maintained their activity level, and support from healthcare professionals who will help prescribe the right activities.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with prostate cancer for at least a year. You'll also need to be doing less than 150 minutes of exercise per week. If you join, you can expect to work on a tailored exercise plan with the help of a peer coach and your healthcare team, all aimed at making physical activity a lasting part of your life. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity to improve your health while receiving support from others who understand your journey.
