ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new exercise program designed to help people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a condition where the airway gets blocked during sleep, leading to breathing difficulties. The main goal of the study is to see if this training can improve the strength of airway muscles, increase overall stamina, and enhance sleep quality for patients with OSA. The researchers also want to understand how these improvements might relate to the severity of the sleep apnea.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be between 20 and 65 years old and have recently been diagnosed with OSA. They should have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 30, which is considered a healthy range. However, people with certain other health issues, like severe heart problems or specific types of sleep apnea, cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in a structured exercise program and help researchers learn more about how this approach can benefit those living with sleep apnea.
