ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to place dental implants right after a tooth is removed, specifically in the back of the mouth. Researchers want to see if using a special type of abutment, called a sealing socket abutment, helps maintain the shape of the gums better than a standard healing abutment. They will also check how this method affects the surrounding bone and soft tissue, as well as how patients feel about the results.
To participate, you need to be over 18 years old and generally healthy, with no serious medical conditions like uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune diseases. If you’re a smoker, you should smoke fewer than 10 cigarettes a day and have one tooth that needs to be removed. Participants will receive care related to their dental implants and will be monitored for changes in their gums, bone, and overall satisfaction with their dental care. If you’re interested, it’s important to talk to your dentist to see if you meet the eligibility requirements.
