ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help doctors perform surgery on complex broken bones, specifically in the thigh (femur) and shin (tibia). The study will assess how accurately doctors can fix these fractures using special guides that are created and printed in 3D right in the hospital where the surgery is taking place. This approach aims to improve the surgery process and outcomes for patients with severe fractures.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 99 years old and have a specific type of bone fracture in your femur or tibia that is broken into several pieces. You should also have a healthy opposite leg without any past surgeries or issues. If you decide to join, you will need to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study. Participants can expect to receive standard surgical care along with the use of these innovative 3D-printed guides. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's a chance to contribute to new advancements in orthopedic surgery.
