ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) affects sleep quality. Researchers want to understand if the severity of CTS symptoms is linked to how well patients sleep, and they will compare the results with healthy individuals who do not have the condition. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it is open to individuals aged between 18 and 65 who have been diagnosed with CTS based on specific medical guidelines.
To be eligible for the trial, you must have CTS, but people with certain other conditions like previous nerve injuries, some autoimmune diseases, or those who are pregnant cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo medical assessments, including ultrasound tests to evaluate your condition, and you will be asked about your sleep quality. This research aims to better understand the effects of CTS on sleep, which could help improve treatment options in the future.
