ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new digital health tool called CVA-FLOW, which is designed to help medical staff quickly assess patients who might be having an acute ischemic stroke. An acute ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain is blocked, preventing blood flow. The goal of the trial is to see if CVA-FLOW can safely and effectively assist doctors in deciding the best course of treatment for these patients. This research is important because it could lead to faster and more accurate care for stroke patients, ultimately improving their chances of recovery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and suspected of having a stroke when you arrive at the emergency department, but you should not have received any stroke treatments yet. Unfortunately, some people may not be eligible, such as those who are too far along in their stroke symptoms, those who cannot communicate in Hebrew, or those who are experiencing serious mental health issues. If you qualify and decide to participate, you’ll be part of a study that aims to improve how strokes are treated, and you can expect to receive close monitoring and care from the medical team involved in the trial.
