ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how COVID-19 affects people's physical and mental health over time, especially during the first wave of the pandemic in China. Researchers want to see how the virus impacts the body and mind and to create a database that helps identify patients who may be at risk for long-term symptoms, often referred to as "long COVID." They will also use advanced imaging techniques to see how COVID-19 might affect the brain and nervous system.
To participate in this study, you need to have been diagnosed with mild or moderate COVID-19 according to World Health Organization guidelines, or be a healthy individual who has never had COVID-19. Unfortunately, those with certain brain or nervous system conditions are not eligible. If you join, you can expect regular follow-ups that could help researchers better understand the long-term effects of COVID-19 and improve care for future patients. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, aged between 65 and 74 or 23 and 740, so there are many opportunities to contribute to important research.
