ClinConnect Summary

The "Home Alone" clinical trial is studying a program designed to help older adults who live alone and have mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which can include issues with memory or thinking. The main goal is to see if this program can keep them engaged, active, and safe at home. Researchers want to find out how well the program works and how it can be improved for future use.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least 55 years old, live alone in their own home, and have some form of cognitive impairment, like a diagnosis of MCI or difficulties with memory. They should also be able to give consent to participate. Those who join will take part for either three or six months, complete surveys, attend weekly coaching meetings, and possibly have a final interview. This is a great opportunity for those who want support in managing everyday life while living independently.
