ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "An Evaluation of Hip Preservation Outcomes," is studying the results of surgeries aimed at preserving the hip joint, specifically for conditions like femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). FAI occurs when the bones of the hip joint do not fit together perfectly, which can cause pain and limit movement. The trial is currently looking for participants who are considering surgery to treat this condition. If you are between the ages of 43 and 82, and you or your guardian can understand and agree to participate, you might be eligible to join.
If you decide to participate, you will be part of a study that examines how well different types of hip surgeries work. The study will track your recovery and outcomes after the surgery. However, there are some important things to note: if you have had certain hip problems in the past, like specific fractures or previous surgeries, you may not qualify for this study. This trial is open to all genders, and the goal is to gather information that can help improve treatment for hip conditions in the future.
