ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying why some caregivers might hesitate or avoid vaccinating their children who have disabilities, chronic diseases, or congenital conditions. The researchers want to understand the feelings and attitudes that caregivers have about vaccinations, the challenges they face in getting their children vaccinated, and the current vaccination status of these children. To gather this information, participants will complete questionnaires and may join group discussions to share their experiences.
To be eligible for this study, children must be diagnosed with a disability, chronic disease, or congenital anomaly. Unfortunately, undiagnosed children or those whose caregivers do not fill out the questionnaires completely cannot participate. The researchers will compare the vaccination records of the children in this study to their siblings and national vaccination records to better understand any differences. If you decide to participate, you can help provide valuable insights that could improve vaccination rates for children with special health needs.
