ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new program called EMPACT-Us, which aims to help people quit using tobacco. The program includes various supportive services designed with input from patients, healthcare providers, and community members. Researchers want to find out if EMPACT-Us is more effective than standard care in helping people engage in quit smoking treatments, make attempts to quit, and successfully stop using tobacco for at least six to twelve months.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, currently using tobacco, and able to speak either English or Spanish. The trial is open to anyone, regardless of their background, as long as they are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or diagnosed with lung cancer. If you join the study, you can expect to receive guidance and support to help you quit smoking. The trial is currently looking for participants, and your involvement could contribute to important research on tobacco cessation.
