ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how common serious fungal infections are in adults who have a specific type of blood cancer called acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), particularly those who have a negative test for a certain genetic marker (Ph-negative). The study will focus on patients during the first few weeks of their treatment, which is a critical time when they may be more at risk for these infections.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be over 18 years old and diagnosed with Ph-negative acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Unfortunately, those with Ph-positive leukemia, or those whose leukemia has come back after treatment, cannot take part. Participants will be monitored closely to help researchers understand how often these infections occur and to improve care for future patients. If you or someone you know fits these criteria and is interested in learning more, this study is currently recruiting participants.
