ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of radiation therapy called proton therapy to help treat women who have had surgery for gynecologic cancers, such as cervical or endometrial cancer. The goal is to see how well this treatment works and to find out if it causes any immediate gastrointestinal side effects, which are issues related to the stomach and intestines. The trial is currently looking for female participants aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with these types of cancer and are recommended for additional radiation therapy after surgery.
To participate in this trial, women must have a confirmed diagnosis of cervical or endometrial cancer and be able to provide their consent to join. They should also be healthy enough to participate, meaning they have a good level of physical functioning. Participants will receive proton therapy, and researchers will monitor their health closely to gather information on any side effects experienced during the treatment. This study aims to improve the care and outcomes for women facing these cancers.
