ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the challenges and risks associated with twin pregnancies, particularly those that may have complications. Twin pregnancies, which occur in about 3-4% of all births, can lead to more health issues for both the mother and babies compared to pregnancies with just one baby. The study aims to create a detailed database to help healthcare professionals monitor and manage twin pregnancies more effectively. By following international guidelines, a specialized team will provide close care and support to the mothers, helping to identify and treat any complications early on.
To be eligible for this study, women must be over 18 years old and have a twin pregnancy with at least two viable babies. Participants will be closely monitored throughout their pregnancy, receiving regular check-ups and support from experts in multiple pregnancies. This trial is important as it seeks to improve the care and outcomes for mothers and their twins, helping to reduce risks associated with twin pregnancies.
